SHORT INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS:

  1. Author can choose to work with word or latex. You can find the most recent template at https://www.springer.com/gp/authors-editors/conference-proceedings/conference-proceedings-guidelines .
    1. Please note: The usage of these templates is not mandatory. Alternatively, you may either use a blank Word document or the standard LaTeX book class (for monographs) or article class (for individual contributions) and apply the default settings and styles (e.g., for heading styles, lists, footnotes, etc.).
  2. Please prepare the papers in one-column format.
  3. Please add under the title the authors’ names, institution, country, city, country (no street or any other address part – neither a complete private address –  should be added there, as this will show up on our webpage). Please see page 1 of the Author Instructions.
  4. Each paper should begin with an abstract that summarizes its content in no more than 200 words. The abstract will appear online at SpringerLink and be available with unrestricted access to facilitate online searching, using e.g. Google, and allow unregistered users to read the abstract as a teaser for the complete paper.
  5. For authors working with word: please avoid inserting equations as graphic files. Use the Math function of Word 2003 or 2007, MathType or Microsoft Equation Editor to create your equations.
  6. Please include all affiliations and e-mail addresses (or at least the email address of the corresponding author) in the paper you submit to the Proceedings editors. The e-mail addresses will be used by SpringerNature to provide authors with a personal account where they can download a free copy of the eBook upon publication
  7. Permissions for any material authors want to reuse from previous publication should be obtained by the corresponding publisher they want to reuse. Usually, authors can GET PERMISSION online by using RightsLink http://www.copyright.com/publishers/rightslink-scientific/. In rare cases, they need to contact the publisher directly. Moreover, Springer is a STM signatory publisher. If authors wish to reuse materials published by another signatory publisher, they can check the corresponding guideline for permission at https://www.stm-assoc.org/intellectual-property/permissions/permissions-guidelines/
  8. Springer self-archiving policy for non-open access book and chapters can be found at https://www.springernature.com/gp/open-research/policies/book-policies .
