In accordance with the provisions of art. 37 sec. 7 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation GDPR) and in order to supervise the correct processing of Personal Data, the Personal Data Controller has appointed a Data Protection Inspector, who can be contacted in matters of personal data protection:

COLLECTED PERSONAL DATA
IBIB PAN may collect the following personal data:
– website browsing data (e.g. IP address, location – country, information about the pages visited by the user on the website, time of access to the website, navigation time on each page, clickstream analysis. Although IBIB PAN does not collect this information in order to associate it with specific users, it is possible to identify users using this information directly or using other collected information);
– cookies (i.e. small text files that can be sent and saved on the user’s computer by visited websites so that they can be sent back to the same websites when the user visits them again. Detailed information can be found in the Cookies Policy on the website). PURPOSE AND METHODS OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
The Personal Data provided may be processed for the following purposes:
– participation in a conference organized by IBIB PAN
Personal Data may be processed in paper or electronic form, including via traditional mail, e-mail or telephone, or in another way (e.g. websites, mobile applications).
Personal data collected in the scope of IT services will be processed by the IBIB PAN IT Department and may be used to improve the operation of the IBIB PAN website.
DATA RECIPIENTS
Personal data may be processed by natural and/or legal persons acting on behalf of IBIB PAN (e.g. service providers with whom IBIB PAN cooperates). Entities processing personal data on behalf of and for IBIB PAN must meet high security standards. IBIB PAN provides only the information necessary to provide services for and on behalf of IBIB PAN. Personal data may be made available to third parties in order to fulfil obligations arising from legal regulations – e.g. on the basis of a court decision, legal regulations or a decision of a public authority. In each case, IBIB PAN checks the legality and legal basis of the transfer of Personal Data and documents the actions taken.
TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EEA
In order to fulfil the purposes of processing, IBIB PAN may transfer personal data to our suppliers, partners or service providers based outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In each case, when personal data is transferred outside the EEA, the data owner is informed about this.
At the same time, taking care of the security of the collected personal data, IBIB PAN strictly adheres to the principles of their transfer resulting directly from the GDPR and transfers data only to places where the level of security is guaranteed in accordance with the decisions of the European Commission (e.g. to the USA only to entities on the so-called Privacy Shield list).
LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
Third party websites accessible through this IBIB PAN website are subject to the responsibility of the third party.
IBIB PAN does not bear any responsibility in connection with requests and/or disclosure of personal data to third parties.
DATA STORAGE
Personal Data is stored by IBIB PAN only for the period considered strictly necessary to achieve the purposes of processing and in accordance with the law and relevant regulations. IBIB PAN does not store personal data longer than necessary. In most cases, the storage period lasts up to 5 years from the end of cooperation with IBIB PAN. However, in some cases, IBIB PAN is obliged to store personal data for a period of up to 10 years from the end of the relationship due to the limitation periods for certain claims.
Data processed to improve the comfort of using websites will be stored for as long as specified in the company’s Cookie Policy.
USER RIGHTS
The user has the following rights:
− the right to access data (means the right to obtain information as to whether personal data are being processed and, where appropriate, the right to access this data)
− the right to rectification and the right to delete data (means the right to correct incorrect and/or incomplete personal data, as well as to delete this data when such a request is justified)
− the right to limit processing (means the right to submit a request to suspend processing when such a request is justified)
− the right to transfer data (means the right to obtain personal data in a structured, commonly used and readable format, as well as the right to transfer this data to other administrators)
− the right to object (means the right to object to the processing of personal data for legitimate reasons (if personal data are processed on the basis of consent)) − the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the event of unlawful processing of Data.
